The Corfu Music Festival
On an island surrounded by ancient castles and steeped in history, Vasile Beluska, professor and coordinator of strings at Bowling Green State University, and several BGSU students joined musicians from around the world at the Summer Academy 2007. The Academy was held in July, 2007, in Corfu, a Greek Island in the Ionian Sea. The Academy is a gathering of notable musicians from Europe, Greece, the Far East, and the United States.

National Service Award From American Hungarian Federation
Vasile Beluska, Professor of Violin at Bowling Green State University recently received the ‘Award for National Service’ from the American Hungarian Federation (AHF). The award was presented at the National American Hungarian Federation gala in New Jersey. Professor Beluska, who serves as Cultural Advisor for the AHF, also performed at the event.
